Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure

Effective date: October 30, 2026

How Wise Home Comfort makes money

Wise Home Comfort is free to read. Two things can pay for it: advertising, and affiliate links on some pages. This page explains both so you can decide how much weight to give what you see.

Advertising

  • Ads on this site are labeled “Advertisement”.
  • Ads are served by Google AdSense and may also come from other advertising networks. The ad networks choose which ad you see. We don’t pick individual ads, and an ad is not a recommendation from us.
  • Ads are never placed inside an affiliate box, inside a video player, or on our Privacy, Terms, Disclosure or Contact pages.
  • Ad networks use cookies. Our Privacy Policy explains this and how to opt out of personalized ads.
  • Some pages may link to products at online stores through affiliate programs. If you buy through one of those links, we may earn a commission. You don’t pay more because of it.
  • Affiliate links are kept inside boxes labeled “Affiliate links”, each link has the words “paid link” next to it, and every page that has them says so near the top, before the first link.
  • As of the effective date above, this site has no affiliate links yet.

Our advice is not for sale

Advertisers and affiliate programs don’t review, approve or pay for our explanations. Our guides follow our Editorial Standards: official, linked sources, dated checks, and state programs labeled by state. Brand, store and product names appear only inside labeled affiliate boxes.

We don’t accept payment for reviews. If we ever receive a free product, a loaned item or payment connected to something we cover, we will say so clearly on that page and in any related video.

YouTube

When a video description on our future YouTube channel includes affiliate links, the description will say so before the links, and the video will say so too.
